Dr. Renna was born and raised on Long Island. While in high school his family dentist encouraged him to consider a career in dentistry. Dr. Renna stayed on Long Island to attend Stony Brook University, where he majored in engineering and biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Renna moved to New Jersey to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, where he served as class president. Dr. Renna began his dental career in Fort Lee, and shortly after opened his private practice in Morris County, first in Montville and then Denville, where he practices today.
Dr. Renna is a 30-year resident of Mountain Lakes, where he and his wife Nicole raised their three daughters. He will tell you that one of the highlights of his career was volunteering as a team dentist for the Penn Women’s Lacrosse team. Dr. Renna is certain his custom-made sports mouthguards were instrumental in Penn’s winning 3 consecutive Ivy League championships. Dr. Renna is a Member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy For Sports Dentistry.
